My brother and sister, Don Charles and Deb Gessner, have made a life in music that has inspired many and led our family through both joyous and hard times. This song, written by Don, is a tribute to the nineteen Granite Mountain Hotshots who lost their lives in the Yarnell Fire in Arizona in 2013. That’s the tragedy that inspired the film Only the Brave.
